Das BMW-Museum liegt in der Nähe des Olympiageländes am Fuße des BMW-Turms und wurde 1972 kurz vor den Olympischen Sommerspielen eröffnet. Es zeigt in einzigartiger Weise die Unternehmensgeschichte des Automobilherstellers BMW von der Vergangenheit über die Gegenwart bis in die Zukunft. Direkt gegenüber liegt die 2008 eröffnete BMW Welt mit einem Restaurantbereich.

The BMW Museum is situated close to the Olympic Stadium and was opened in 1972 shortly before the summer Olympics of that year. It shows the development of BMW from the past, over the present to the future. Directly opposite of it is the „BMW Welt“ (BMW World) which opened in 2008 and has a restaurant area.
